Unemployment Decrease?
May 2, 2008 — simmsjpJust today, it was announced that the US unemployment rate decreased and Walstreet is having a some positive short term outlooks. However, in stlpace.net’s opinion the US Unemployment Rate is much higher than what the current GDP statistics has indicated.
Think about it, the US Unemployment statistics is very flawed! It doesn’t count those unemployed worker’s who ran out of their unemployment income, those who haven’t apllied for unemployment compensation, those individuals who currently are being turned down for unemployment compensation, those who are not making any net income profit that can be taxed and even those currently employed who are now being placed under ”As Needed Status” from previous Full/Part Time Employment Status.
In regards to the “As Needed Employment Status”; we believe that this practice should be illegal for employers to do in order for them not to contribute to unemployment compensation and to get out of providing low premium health benefits to their current “As Needed Employees” do to cut in one’s work hours.
As you can see, the curerent US Unemployment statistics is very flawed big time!
